Epic Video Series, Video 2: Epic Monsters

Our lead designer Ryan Servis has posted the latest in our Epic video series, “Epic Monsters: The Mythical Titans of Epic 5e.” In this video, Ryan talks about what makes a mythic monster truly Epic and how to craft confrontations with these beasts for the deadliest, grandest encounters. Next up in our video series, Ryan will be talking about relics—magic items beyond artifact-level power, fit only for the most Epic of 5th Edition games. Tune in at 6 pm PT on Wednesday, August 25, on our Twitch channel to see it live.

So, here’s the next wondrous goal to unlock:

When we hit the 75k milestone, we can bulk print the Epic Legacy Hero’s Handbook, which means we can pass along those savings into higher-quality printing options. Standard copies of the book will be upgraded to luxurious photo paper, richer print colors, and premium binding. Deluxe copies of the book receive all those treatments AND include foil stamping for the cover, printed endpaper, and an emerald-green ribbon bookmark.

Stretch Goal Met - Illuminated Manuscript!

You must want a tome as beautiful as it is deadly, because we’ve unlocked our first stretch goal!

Thanks to you, the Epic Legacy Hero’s Handbook has reached its first stretch goal, which means a more art-dense book! Since we hit the 30k mark, we will expand our art budget by 20 percent and have a higher art-to-text ratio. You backers are bringing the thunder, and now we turn our sights to the next stretch goal. With so many champions at our side, we can surely make it!

Our quest continues:

When we hit the 50k milestone, our tome will receive a content expansion! This goal will bring you a collection of brand-new deity-worthy magic items. This means alongside our remastered relics from the original book, you get a new batch of treasures to reward Epic-level players!
